Who is Bianca Holman?

Before venturing into journalism, Bianca was a sixth-grade math teacher in Washington D.C. and Brooklyn, N.Y. She holds degrees from Howard University, American University, and Columbia University. 

Growing up in a military family, Bianca had the privilege of experiencing life in various states across the country. This diverse exposure enriched her perspective and instilled a sense of resilience in her. 

Outside of her busy schedule, she enthusiastically dedicates her free time to volunteering with various organizations, including the esteemed Junior League, the prestigious Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), and the exclusive Howard Alumni Club.

She maintains an active lifestyle by engaging in fitness classes such as Pilates and boot camp, ensuring her physical well-being. Her journey is a testament to her hard work, talent, and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the world around her.

New Joining at ABC 10

Bianca Holman has now joined ABC 11 Eyewitness News as an anchor and reporter. Previously, she worked as the morning anchor and reporter at WAVY-TV 10/Fox43 in Hampton Roads, Virginia, where the morning team won ‘Best TV Morning Show’ by the Virginia Association of Broadcasters. 

Bianca’s experience also includes her time at KLAS in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she won a 2020 Pacific Southwest Emmy Award for the News Special Category. She started her on-air career as a general assignment reporter at WDBJ in Roanoke, Virginia.
